From a Nurse 2 a Nurse was created with one simple goal in mind: to support and encourage nurses at every stage of their journey.

My name is Dr. Keri Barron, and I am a registered nurse who has been in the profession since 2008. My journey in nursing began with an associate degree and continued through earning my BSN, MSN in Nursing Education, and PhD in Nursing. Throughout my career, I have served as a nurse, educator, mentor, and researcher, working closely with nursing students, practicing nurses, and future nurse scientists.

Over the years, I realized something important: many nurses are navigating this profession without enough practical support, encouragement, or visibility for the many paths that nursing offers. Nursing school can feel overwhelming, clinical practice can be demanding, and academic and research careers often feel like uncharted territory.

From a Nurse 2 a Nurse was created to help fill that gap.

This platform was built to provide resources, encouragement, and recognition for the nursing community. Our work focuses on three main areas:

• Academic success for nursing students – tools and resources designed to help students build confidence, strengthen critical thinking, and succeed in nursing school.
• Recognition of nursing specialties – highlighting the many roles nurses play in healthcare and celebrating the professionals who serve in these areas.
• Support for nurse scientists and nurse educators – sharing resources that help advance research, scholarship, and innovation in nursing.

In addition to educational resources, From a Nurse 2 a Nurse also offers motivational merchandise and products designed specifically for nurses and nursing students, created to inspire pride in the profession and encourage perseverance along the journey.

At its heart, this platform reflects the same principle that guides nursing itself: nurses supporting nurses.
