Hello! I’m Dr. Barron, an Assistant Professor in Nursing. From a Nurse 2 a Nurse originated from my interactions with numerous undergraduate students seeking guidance on their academic journey in nursing. I recognized the need to support these students, as well as those in middle and high school preparing for their nursing path.
In facing my own challenges transitioning from a floor nurse to a nursing academic and scientist, I knew there were other academics with similar challenges. As such, I expanded From a Nurse 2 a Nurse to include pre-nursing students, nursing students, nursing faculty and nurse scientists. This site offers curated products for pre-nursing students, practicing nurses, nursing academics, and nursing scientists. My aim is that these resources become a source of support and guidance on your unique nursing journey.
