Organizing Journal Information

The first tip I want to give revolves around organization, specifically around managing the different information for journals. As a nursing researcher, you will be required to submit publications. The number will depend on your organization and whether or not you are on tenure track. My goal with this tip is to help you prevent overwhelm when getting ready to submit your publication. There is no worse feeling than having to remember the username and password you have set for a specific journal. Having to go through the motions of submitting a reset link for the username or password can become tedious and increase overwhelm when you are ready to submit a manuscript. My tip for you is to create a table in word to keep track of the journal names and the usernames and passwords that you have created for each journal. Then when it is time for you to submit a manuscript, all you have to do is refer to your table. I currently have information for over 20 journals saved. Keeping a table with my journal information as helped me tremendously. I hope this tip is helpful for you as well.
